Josephine Harts
Founder, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, & FNP-BC
Hello! I’m Josephine Harts, your Nurse Practitioner based in California, dedicated to providing a warm, understanding, and personalized approach to your healthcare needs. With over fifteen years of experience in the medical field—and more than five as a Nurse Practitioner—I’ve developed a deep ability to truly listen, connect, and ensure your voice is central to our shared health journey.
In my practice, I take a holistic approach, addressing both physical and mental health to support the whole person. I’ve had the privilege of serving diverse groups, including the LGBTQ+ community, veterans, expectant parents, teens, middle-aged adults, and older adults. I care for individuals ages 6 and up, and tailor each visit to your unique needs with compassion and respect. As a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I’m equipped to help you through challenges such as anxiety, depression, gynecological issues, weight loss, and even the common cold.
Education is the foundation of my care philosophy. I hold a Master’s in Nursing for primary care, followed by a post-MSN certification in advanced mental health, and I bring ten years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist to every interaction—offering truly well-rounded care.
When I’m not with patients, you’ll find me expressing creativity through interior design, practicing cosmetology, staying physically active, or enjoying sci-fi and horror films.
Let’s embark on your health journey together—guided by understanding, backed by expertise, and uplifted with a touch of light-heartedness.

I believe in a compassionate, patient-centered approach to healthcare. My goal is to create a safe space where patients feel heard and respected. I use thorough assessments to identify the right treatments for you, blending pharmacological options with non-pharmacological methods. By collaborating with your healthcare team, I aim for the best outcomes. Together, we will explore your health challenges and develop a tailored plan that meets your needs and goals. Your well-being is my commitment.
